Forestry survey for potential community walks, community space and improvements to environmental impact.
The Community Council has been in talks with the latest forestry development just outside Corsock. The discussions are about including a community space and a circular walk as part of the development so please fill in this survey to share your views.. it takes around 5 minutes maximum.
As well as space for people, the community council is keen to see improvements to the environmental quality of forestry plantations through the inclusion of open spaces for ground nesting birds, broadleaf trees which provide habitat and continuous cover important for many species of wildlife and wildflower areas which have been in significant decline across the whole country. The developer is happy to make some adjustments to incorporate these but again, the community council would like to hear your views on this in the survey.
