A forestry development called Upper Barr is coming to Glaisters Hill and Whiteneuk Hill (2 km north of Corsock). The Community Council has been in discussion with the developer to discuss incorporating some community amenities into the development in the form of pathways and a community area, as well as managing the area for biodiversity and environment.
