The offer by Dumfries & Galloway Council of free bedding plants was enthusiastically taken up by
Corsock Kids Club. Using funds received through the Corsock & Kirkpatrick Durham Community
Council Blackcraig Microgrant scheme, planters and pots were purchased, and the children (with
adult supervision) set to work. 4 pots were planted out and positioned in corsock village and 2 containers are outside Knockvennie Hall.
Maintaining social distancing throughout, this was an opportunity for the kids to see each other and
take part in some planting fun.
